PMI Chennai Chapter launched the mentorship program on Apr 4, 2026 for the Chennai Chapter new members which is a structured initiative that pairs experienced professionals (mentors) with mentees to foster professional growth, knowledge transfer, and career development.

President of PMI Chennai Chapter Mr. Vijay Narayanan presided over the event and introduced the mentors to the gathering. The profile of the Mentors is astonishing and their professional experience will greatly add value to our chapter members.
Dr Parvez Alam, Region Mentor South Asia, PMI addressed the gathering and mentioned how the mentorship program is a great benefit to everyone. He also unveiled this new initiative

Profile of the Mentors
★ Chandrasekaran Avdivaragan
PMI Speaker, Mentor, Volunteer, and Advisory Board Member of PMI Chennai Chapter.
Chandra has served in several leadership roles and is the Founder Director of Infocareer and Golden Planet Senior Heritage Homes, with over 30 years of professional experience.
★ Satyanarayanan Visvanathan
With 36+ years of professional experience, he is the Founder of Yashima Consulting Technologies and a visionary leader in Digital Transformation, Business Optimization, and Innovation.
★ Karthik K Ramamurthy
An accomplished global leader with over 30 years of industry experience.
PMI Volunteer Leader, published author on Project Success, former President of PMI Chennai Chapter, and visiting faculty at several prestigious institutions.
★ Prasanna Sampathkumar
With over 25 years of professional experience, he is a respected voice in the Project Management community.
Currently serves on PMI’s Culture and Diversity Advisory Team, contributing to inclusion, belonging, and emotional wellbeing initiatives globally.
Former Region Mentor and Past President of PMI Chennai Chapter.
★ Koushik Srinivasan
A seasoned leader with over 25 years of professional experience.
Recognized volunteer leader, former Board Member of PMI Chennai Chapter, and expert in Program Management, Transformation Strategy, and Cloud Advisory. Has authored and co-authored multiple publications and books.


Each of the mentors shared their insight on the importance of growth mindset and unconventional style the mentees need to adapt to maximise the potential and to handle tough situations in work and social patterns. There was a feedback session from the audience on what to expect from this Mentorship program.
In summary, It was a successful launch of the Mentorship Program and another key initiative from PMI Chennai Chapter for the members to strengthen their professional goals, foster development, and adapt to diverse networking opportunities.
