PMICC 3B Journey

PMI Chennai Chapter has launched a 3B Plan (30-60-90 days plan) for new member onboarding this year.

Belong - In the first 30 days, we wanted them to Belong to our chapter by sending an automated welcome email, adding them to the relevant channels etc.,
Believe - Within the first 60 days, we wanted our new members to believe us wherein we setup a virtual onboarding session and will assign a buddy as needed. Make them to be part of the. Project துணை(Companion) by setting up the stage for them to start their mentorship journey based on their interest and willingness.
Become - Within the first 90 days, we wanted our new members to become part of our chapter. We will persuade and motivate them to attend our chapter events and also take up a few volunteering opportunities. We also give the new members to connect in-person quarterly.

We run this virtual onboarding session every second Wednesday evening.

We are so happy and proud to share that we have successfully and consistently completed our third virtual onboarding session on 13th May.

The session was an engaging and insightful platform designed to help new members understand the value of PMI membership, the vision of PMICC, and the many opportunities available for professional growth, networking, volunteering, and continuous learning.

During the session, members were introduced to:

    1. PMI membership benefits including access to PMBOK®️ standards, PMI Infinity, webinars, eLearning resources, certification discounts, and global job opportunities.
    2. PMICC initiatives focused on knowledge sharing, mentoring programs, workshops, conferences, leadership development, and community engagement.
    3. Volunteer opportunities within the chapter that enable members to contribute, collaborate, and develop leadership capabilities.
    4. Networking platforms and mentorship programs that help professionals connect, learn, and grow together.
    5. Guidance related to PMP certification support, chapter activities, and upcoming events.
The interaction and enthusiasm shown by the participants truly reflected the strength of the growing PMICC community. We sincerely thank all the attendees, speakers, presenters, and volunteers who made the session meaningful and impactful.

At PMI Chennai Chapter, we remain committed to creating a vibrant ecosystem where project management professionals can learn, share, lead, and make a difference together.
