Learning. Leadership. Well-being. Social Impact. — One Meaningful Day!

On 5 September 2026, the PMI Chennai Chapter – Coimbatore Branch successfully hosted its first-ever Dual In-Person Knowledge Sharing Session (KSS) in Coimbatore, bringing together 50+ professionals, including project and program managers from diverse industry domains, academicians, and students.

The event featured two insightful sessions, each offering a distinct perspective while reinforcing one powerful message: Great leadership begins with continuous learning, personal well-being, and a commitment to creating positive impact.

⭐ Session 1 | Panel Discussion

“From the Boardroom: What Business Leaders Expect from Project Managers in the AI Era”

An engaging panel discussion featuring distinguished industry leaders:

🔹 Dr. Nithyanandan Devaraj
🔹 Sukanta Mohapatra
🔹 Kavitha Raghupathy

Moderated by Preetha Naidu, the discussion explored the evolving expectations of Project Managers in the AI era, emphasizing business acumen, value creation, strategic thinking, AI adoption, and effective boardroom communication.

⭐ Session 2 | Well-being Keynote

“Beyond Burnout: Well-being for Project Leaders”

Delivered by Dr. Prabha Ranganathan, this insightful keynote, aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), explored workplace well-being, stress management, burnout prevention, resilience, and practical approaches to sustainable performance.

A timely reminder that professional success is truly meaningful when we also prioritize the well-being of the person behind the professional.

⭐ Strengthening Student Engagement

The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. B. Shyam Sundar – VP Outreach and Coimbatore Branch Leader, who set the context for the day's sessions and shared updates on the progress of student clubs in Coimbatore and emerging clubs across the region.

The newly appointed student club leaders from KCT Business School were also introduced to the delegates, further strengthening the connection between academia and the professional project management community.
