The PMI Chennai Chapter proudly marked a significant milestone with the successful inauguration of the PMI Chennai Chapter – KCT Business School (KCTBS) Student Club on 10 December 2025. This is the second student club established under the Chapter’s academic outreach initiative, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing future-ready professionals through globally recognized project management practices.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp lighting, followed by the தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்து and a vibrant cultural dance performance, setting an inspiring tone for the event.
The formal proceedings began with a Welcome Address by Ms. Rithika P, President of the Student Club and II-year MBA student. This was followed by the Student Club Logo Launch by the PMI Chennai Chapter leadership and the handover of office bearer badges to the institution.
Distinguished speakers addressed the gathering, including Dr. Raghupathy, Mr. Madhan Ram, and Dr. B. Shyam Sundar, who highlighted the importance of project management education, leadership development, and industry readiness for students. The program also featured the introduction of office bearers and founding members, led by Dr. B. Shyam Sundar.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Ms. Priyadharshini K U, Secretary of the Student Club, followed by the National Anthem.
