The speaker Prashant Sree gave a deep insight on the Transaction Analysis and the various behavioural patterns for interpersonal communications and social interactions.

The session started with the 3 Ego States Parent, Adult and Child and how each of us go through these 3 Ego states in our daily work and different Situations and how it leads to complementary or crossed transaction.

He gave few practical examples at work and social patterns.  It was very interactive and participants could relate the PAC-to-PAC States in various conversations

 

Each participant paired with their neighbour to discuss the various situations in the organization and then the speaker explained the transaction patterns to enhance workplace communication, leadership style, motivation with the workforce with a productive Adult-Adult workplace relationship.

He also covered the units of recognition referred to as Stroke in TA and discussed the 4 types namely Unconditional Positive, Unconditional Negative, Conditional Positive and Conditional Negative.  All the participants interacted and gave a few examples for each of these types.

The speaker later explained the five drivers in TA which are Be Strong; Be Perfect; Please Others; Try Hard and Hurry Up. There were a lot of takeaways from the participants and curiosity to implement some of these behavioural styles to bring a positive change at work, personal and social life.

In summary, it was a very insightful, informative and interactive session on Transaction Analysis with the following key takeaways

  2. How we can adapt the right style for stakeholder communication, team motivation, recognition and self-awareness.
