Influence and inspire women and girls to break the barrier of so-called society norms for women. Goal is to teach women to live life on their own terms with courage and confidence, without being controlled by other mindsets, while having the power to deal with consequences instead of someone else driving their life.

The mission is to share tools and techniques for work-life balance, self-efficacy, confidence, and courage, empowering and uplifting women. Providing positive tools to navigate the pressures and expectations of society and to inspire every woman to do their personal best in all aspects of life.

Speaker Name: Ms. Rakshan Syed, Director Digital Products, Caterpillar
Rakshan Syed is the author of Embolden Women: Unapologetically Me. She is a mom, career woman, and a daughter. Ever since she was a little girl, she has been passionate about women’s empowerment. From a young age, she had a sense of unease regarding the universal acceptance of gender biases & would challenge the norms that would discriminate against women. She has passion for women’s education and career development. She strongly believes that every woman must be given equal opportunity in all facets of life. She is a Lawyer, Interior Designer, and a successful IT Professional with a senior management position in a fortune 100 company. Her passion for women empowerment and gender equality is what prompted her to write her first book; ‘Embolden Women: Unapologetically Me’.
