In this chaotic blend of personal life, professional commitments and recreational activities, we tend to get worn down and tired. Yoga serves as a secret weapon to rejuvenate ourselves.

Project Management Institute Chennai Chapter had organized a Yoga Session for its members to celebrate International Yoga Day on 21st June 2025.
Yoga session was focused on the following asanas- Brahmari, Tadaaana, Vrksaaana, Surya namaskar, Dvipada pitham, Urdhva PrasRita padaasana, Supta baddha konasana, Apanasana and andra bedhana.

We also learnt simple stretches and yoga poses that can be done within a cramped cubicle or in the comfort of our homes.

We were able to align to the following sustainable goals as part of this session

    • Goal-3: Good Health and Well-Being - Yoga session with Healthy Snacks
    • Goal-6: Clean water and Sanitation - To avoid wastage of water, used water dispensers
    • Goal-7: Affordable and clean Energy - Focused on Energy Efficiency by Organizing the event in a Beach
    • Goal-14: Life Below Water: Plastic Pollution: We used BIO Products to serve the snacks and water
    • Goal-15: Life on Land: Distributed Seed balls for planting
