ABOUT SPEAKER : Mr Pradip Mehta -Consultant to a Law firm
Mr. Mehta, DBIA, PMP, CCP, PSP, EVP, RMP has proven track record of successfully building diverse project control groups serving across multiple business lines for the Owner, Contractor, and Program Management organizations. He is an internationally recognized expert in implementing Project Controls best practices and is frequently invited as a guest speaker on the subject of: implementing an Enterprise-Wide project control systems, Earned Value Management, Project controls best practices, forensic claim analysis, litigation and dispute resolution. He has presented more than 25 publications at different venues and was invited to deliver a Key note speech at the Global PM Forum in Rio, Brazil and at the Advanced Project Controls conference in Denver, CO. Mr. Mehta served as the Vice President of Project Controls at AECOM, a global Project Management conglomerate and currently serving as a consultant to a Law firm involved in resolving a billion plus dollar dispute between an Owner and a Contractor
Mr. Mehta brings with him over 40 years of extensive and diversified experience in successfully implementing project management and control processes and systems at the corporate level as well as at the program level. Mr Mehta has served as an expert witness and as a claim consultant representing Owner on a wide variety of disputes involving delay and disruption. Mr. Mehta offers unique combination of skills demonstrated through his hands on approach and achievements of results in leading and performing a full range of project management and control functions including oversight, direction, training in the areas of planning and scheduling, cost engineering, project performance reviews, change control management, earn value management, revenue recognition, process re-engineering, expert testimony and claims litigation. He has demonstrated skills in working with all levels of organizations including capital planning, finance, information technology, legal, procurement, and human resources,
He also served as the President of the PMI College of Scheduling from 2010 to 2012 and was inducted as a Guild Fellow of Project Controls in the Planning Planet organization carrying a membership of 80,000 worldwide.. Mr Mehta is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Cost Engineer (CCE), Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) and Earned Value Professional (EVP), and a Risk Management Professional (RMP).
